This is a remote role reporting into our global HQ in Germantown, WI.

You will direct and oversee all National Accounts by developing and implementing short- and long-term strategies for building client relationships, generating new business, and driving revenue growth. Additionally, you will oversee goal setting for each National Account and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales, processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with senior leaders of all North American business units to create sales strategies for National Accounts and annual sales plans consistent with the Company’s growth objectives
  • Directs the National Accounts Engineering Sales Representative (ESR) Program, Strategic Reseller Program, and Ellsworth LLC direct national accounts teams
  • Implements methods and systems to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors to expand the customer base for large and National Accounts
  • Utilizes market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products
  • Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs
  • Directs the selling activities for National Accounts including leading development, tracking and issue resolution to achieve sales plans
  • Participates in negotiations for strategic and high-value sales initiatives
  • Collaborates with supplier representatives to maximize relationships and help drive supplier programs
  • Performs full range of people-management responsibilities, including making final decisions regarding hiring, disciplinary actions, performance management, compensation decisions, coaching and development

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years in outside sales with 7+ years leading a National Accounts team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field
  • Frequent travel within the Unites States, Canada and Mexico
  • Holds integrity paramount to all, followed closely by customer service, quality, collaboration, teamwork, drive, compliance, hard work, discipline, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Expert communication skills, including up, down, across, within and outside the organization
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships inside the company, together with cultivating an external network outside the company
  • Commitment to personal growth and development – including both team and self
  • Uses influence to stretch the thinking within the business, in pursuit of Ellsworth’s profitable and predictable growth initiatives and strategies
